Academic Excellence for the
Get Fit Families Tri Team

Expectations:

  1. All students are expected to maintain a minimum C average in all classes.

  2. If a student falls below a C in any class, a discussion with coaches is encouraged, and the student may be asked to temporarily miss practices until their grade improves.

  3. Failing a class warrants temporary suspension from practice until the student restores their grade to a C average.

Behavioral Standards:

  1. Student athletes are expected to demonstrate respect and avoid disruptive behavior at school and during practices.

  2. Detention at school will result in the student not attending practice on that day.

  3. Suspension from school will prohibit attendance at practice during the suspension period.

Special Considerations:

  1. Students facing upcoming projects or tests may miss practice without consequence.

  2. Parents can excuse their child from practice for school-related reasons.

Support and Honesty:

We expect our athletes to prioritize academic excellence. Open communication regarding grades and academic needs is crucial. If additional assistance is required, we are committed to providing tutoring support to help all students maintain their academic commitments.

At Get Fit Families Tri Team, we celebrate the achievements of well-rounded individuals who not only excel in their athletic pursuits but also thrive academically. Together, let's foster a community of excellence in both realms.
