Get Fit Families’ fall trail cross country race north of Pittsburgh. Youth and adults race on dirt, not pavement. Costumes are welcome.

Why people come
This is a trail cross country morning: age-group racing, a Halloween atmosphere, and a GFF finish area where families cheer. Competitive high-school and adult runners come for a real XC effort. First-time trail racers come for a supported first go on dirt.
Who can participate
- Youth and adult runners, including first-time trail racers and experienced XC athletes.
- Spectators. You can cheer without racing. Dress for a November morning in western Pennsylvania.
- Costumes are welcome at this holiday race.
Plan your race day
- Arrive for packet pickup and check-in, then race on trails, not pavement.
- Youth and adult groups start in waves.
- GFF trail races typically include a Halloween goody bag and finish-area food.
- Stay for awards. They are handed out on site and are not mailed.
