Still deciding? You don’t have to get it perfect — we’ll help place your child in the right group so they feel comfortable and confident from day one.

What Parents Should Know

GFF summer programs are designed to meet kids where they are. You don't need to know exactly which level or group is right before registering — we'll help make sure your child is appropriately placed.

  • No experience required
Many kids join with little or no background in swimming, biking, running, or multisport. Coaches focus on helping each child learn and build confidence.

  • Summer camp isn't just for competitive athletes
Most GFF camps welcome a range of experience levels. Elite Summer Training is the separate performance-focused option for competitive athletes.

  • Kids are grouped by age and ability
Groups are organized so kids can learn at an appropriate level, feel supported, and still be challenged.

  • There's more to camp than training
Depending on the program, days may include games, hiking, outdoor play, team challenges, obstacle courses, and other activities alongside sport-specific instruction.

  • Not sure which program or group to choose?
That's okay. Choose the program that seems like the best fit, and GFF can help with appropriate placement.

USA Triathlon Membership Required

All Get Fit Families summer camp participants need a current USA Triathlon youth membership. The membership provides the insurance coverage required to participate in GFF programs.

New to triathlon? That's completely fine. A USA Triathlon membership does not mean your child needs racing experience or needs to be a competitive triathlete.

Youth memberships are inexpensive and can be purchased online before camp.
